Okay so there are 2 mechanics that are kinda outdated to my eyes on the game. These are health bonus and life steal, both bring respectively an offensive and a defensive modifier that are overshadowed by everything else.
Firstly I think bonus health should be easier to balance,
for instance, we could increase the bonus factor like on a rune for example : instead of giving +3% health it would give +6% just like block or at least +4.5% to make it a little more useful !
Now let's talk about life-steal, to my eyes life-steal can become one of the best modifier if we change just something...
We can make life steal useful if we make it trigger with pets/brains just like empower and I honestly think that it would actually make it more balanced than overpowered.
Life-steal would become good mostly for bait as it would allow baits to heal from a dps pet, and I know reading it might feel like it would make some pet like asti useless but this is far from reality :
The best way to build life-steal is by using runes and enchants but It would need us to sacrifice other modifiers to build it instead which is a first nerf.
Then lot of sets already provide healing and dps at the same time when hit which is a second nerf.
And finally even by building 15% life-steal we would still get only a small portion of the dps our pet would make so in the end it seems like even if it proc with pets it would still need a buff lol.
Here were my recommendations concerning these modifiers to make the game a little more fun and open to new perspectives in build-making and maybe even open to new ideas for pieces of set/mythics as I know that the game is already crowded with a bunch of modifiers and sets and that it might be hard to create new set that wouldn't break the game.
