I confirmed with the team this morning that this was an intentional change. The in-game text is being updated now to better communicate this!

That’s a pretty big nerf considering that’s multiple of our current events where we can’t get event mats from and the shops tend to get larger with more to buy out with schematics which we appreciate but when you take away one of the biggest forms of farming event currency that makes it very hard to do. Plus with gvg too we don’t have invasion or exp for a whole week to try to offset that and give another game mode where we can earn currency. Also no announcement is rough especially since we get bugs like these all the time and just expect them to be fixed

I would argue that pvp and gvg are the weekly modes people push for the most. Why take that option away? ESPECIALLY on a once a year throne in gvg for bragging rights.

This is the most moronic change in the world if you are trying to incentivize spending this is such a shit way to go about it my dms are open this is yet another out of touch change and shows that whoever passed this change has no idea how the game works. Go to you boss if you don’t have permission and tell it to his face that this is a moronic decision and this game will die with more of these decisions. I wouldn’t be able to live with myself putting this change through and not speaking out against it not even joking this change is disgusting and sad revert it or there will be issues I am serious. I think that for the situation the game finds itself in, the ideal is always to consult RT players.
