To my knowledge, I have not (yet) had this occur on the most updated version of the game on Android 13 / Steam. Adding more in messages after initial post.
Narrowed it down to this occurrence being due to the item pictured second. I can melt 8 of 9 without error. The remaining item disappears after refresh.
This has occurred for me twice. The original occurrence had several items where the final 3-4 of each could not be melted until after refresh. In that occurrence, they did not disappear.
