No wolf appears in Clear sky wheat field! | LifeAfter: Night falls | Page 1

I've just restarted the game on Ark city server after many months away & I need to get 2 bones from clear sky wheat field and I understand a wolf is supposed to appear to hunt but it's not there! What's going on?

Wolves do appear there but you can get the bones by shooting zombies, sheep or deer as well.

But they they're not appearing & at the beginning of the game you can't travel to other areas
