UI Elements: Custom Channels

Creating a custom channel will allow you to chat with players that you invite to join that channel. This is especially useful for private fleets, friend groups, corporation/alliance sub-channels and more.

• To create a Custom Channel, begin by tapping on the chat panel and then tapping on the "+" button on the left side:

• Enter a name for the channel and then tap on "Create"

• You will receive a notification that the channel has been created. From there, you will need to re-enter the channel name and tap "Join"

• Once joined, you have the option to apply additional settings. Tap the custom channel on the left side of the chat panel and then the icon at the top right.

• Select settings from the menu and there will be the option to set a password. Tap on "No password set" and enter your password. When joining the channel, only people that have been given the password will be able to access it.
