Depends on the bot. If the bot is scraping market data, it very well could cause a 10y market ban.

But these are questions that only the devs can definitively answer.

In the gaming world, cheat detection is quite common and implemented into games. I have a feeling I know how and what they are looking for, but it can be worked around if you knew what they look for.
