Subcapital ships are the most common vessels that players use for various activities, including combat, exploration, mining, hauling, and more. The choice of ship class can greatly influence a player's effectiveness in various activities, as well as their ability to adapt to different challenges and scenarios.

Basic Ship Classes:
Shuttles:
The Shuttle is the smallest ship type in EVE Echoes, measuring only 30m in length and having a Cargo Capacity of merely 10m³. However, currently, it lacks a significant purpose in the game due to its limited capabilities.
Frigates:
Frigates are the smallest combat and exploration ships in EVE Echoes. Frigates are versatile and SP efficient for PvP engagements, while also often being more affordable and easily replaced than higher tonnage vessels. Additionally, frigates are the popular choice for exploration tasks, due to their inherent speed and agility, some frigates also receive additional bonuses for hacking and scanning devices.
Destroyers:
Less common than frigates, destroyers have specific roles in the game. Some pilots use Interdiction Destroyers to build gatecamps, while others utilize destroyers as support vessels in small fleet warfare.
Cruisers:
The Cruiser is a versatile ship class that offers a balanced combination of firepower and durability. While they are suitable for most tasks, they may not be the optimal choice for every specific purpose.
Battlecruisers:
Acting as a hybrid between cruisers and battleships, battlecruisers can be specialized for very high DPS output or increased tankiness. They are often employed in larger fleet battles.
**Battleships: **
Representing the largest subcapital ships, battleships are highly versatile and excel in both PvE and PvP combat. They boast the best DPS and can withstand significant damage, making them formidable opponents against ships of similar or lower tonnage.
Industrial Ships:
Unlike the other Ship Classes listed here, Industrial Ships are classified as non-combat ships and therefore are not meant to be used in Combat. They can be divided into two subclasses:
-Transporters
-Mining Vessels
While Transporters are used to haul goods across the star systems, Mining Vessels are able to mine Ore from Asteroid Belts more efficiently.
