Intelligent Nanocore Information

1. ) Any purple nanocore may be upgraded to a gold, "intelligent" nanocore. The cost is between 60-800 Tesseract Star Cores depending on the ship size. Most people will likely upgrade battleships, so I will reference the 120 cost that it is for faction battleships in this thread.

2. ) To activate the AI you must upgrade that gold core for an additional 200 Tesseract Star Cores or 500 AUR.

3.) AI will automatically farm regular anomaliess or high-sec combat missions. You may select the number of jumps the AI will take you to do so, including zero jumps (stay in system)

4.) In order for the AI to automatically rat for you, you must have Amethyst Cores. 1 Amethyst Core equals 1 hour of automated ratting.

5.) Upgrading a purple core unlocks a second tree of nanocore attributes that you may use. The first attribute is automatically unlocked and will allow you to choose one of the primary stats from your source nano. For example, if you have a sleeper core you can have sleeper mode from the source core and also have +18% laser damage from that primary stat selection. Additional secondary slots must be unlocked for different nanocore material than normal.

6.) Instead of rolling for your secondary stats like you normally would, instead you choose from a library of stats that you have unlocked. You may swap out these stats at your leisure for no charge. In order to stock your library, you must consume purple nanocores. By analyzing a purple nanocore you destroy it and gain some of the stats from that nanocore to your library. Consuming additional nanocores can level up these library stats.

7.) Stats you have unlocked in the library grant small permanent attribute bonuses for all ships that are fitted with intelligent nanocores - equipping one of these attributes as your secondary attribute stat gives you the full effect.

COST ANALYSIS

Getting an intelligent nanocore will require you to first own a purple nanocore. Upgrading it to be intelligent will currently cost 960 AUR via the Intelligent Nanocore Cultivation bundle in the store.

Further upgrading it to have the AI function will cost another 500 AUR.

Unlocking the second attribute slot will cost unique nanocore materials obtainable via the Nanocore Material Bundle in the shop. This bundle costs 150 AUR, is weekly limited to 10 purchases and you will need 10 to unlock your first library selectable attribute. This will be 1500 AUR.

Your total cost to have an AI core with AI features and one library attribute will be 2,960 AUR assuming you already own an initial purple nano and have additional nanos to analyze.

It does appear that the unique nanocore materials can be sold on the open market, however someone will have to list them.

The Tesseract core may not be purchased on the open market, however they can be obtained through the Concord Pass.

The Amethyst cores may not be purchased on the open market, however they can be purchased for ISK in the Store. They cost 10mil apiece, are weekly limited to 20, and again will grant you 1 hour of AI function.

WARNING

I acquired the intelligent nanocore in order to produce this informational post and ran into a several issues immediately.

1.) I disconnected in the first high sec mission I tried to automate. Perhaps this was a fluke, but just because it is automated does not mean you will not disconnect and get pointed/die to rats. I am not sure if the AI function will continue whilst you are disconnected.

2.) I had MANY instances where the AI function locked up/paused after completing a highsec mission and I was just sitting there doing nothing. Again, perhaps this was a fluke, but if it is common, you may waste your amethyst doing absolutely nothing.

3.) The AI seems to effectively make use of all of your slots, however in my case - using the Bhaalgorn equipped with an intelligent sleeper nanocore, the AI never made use of my sleep mode.

4.) The AI will automatically lock, orbit, engage, and destroy rats - quite effectively as well. However, it warps to zero and in the case you are equipped with a long range sniper, you may end up being tackled and not able to apply damage to any ships.

5.) While using the AI mode to automate high-sec missions, the AI will automatically open up your missions screen, click through dialogue, etc. This WILL interrupt anything you may be doing on your screen if you are trying to look in the market, chat, or peruse random things on the client.

TLDR:

The Intelligent Nanocore is extremely valuable in terms of being able to have two primary attributes active from the purple Nanocore of your choice and additionally allowing you to consume unused nanocores for a plethora of passive attributes on any intelligent nanocore equipped ship. Unlocking secondary attributes on your Intelligent Nanocore will give you even greater stats and can make some nasty DPS/Tank numbers. The AI mode is neat, but buggy - and unless you are set up for close range combat, you will likely waste time, resources, and potentially die to rats.

This is misleading, but mostly helpful info. Need a minimum of 9/10 of the weekly for the first gold secondary bonus on my apoc s, but potentially far more.

The second bonus is not 100% throughout like on a purple. The chance decreases with each success. I failed twice and there isn't enough in the weekly to keep trying. Was not lucky with remaining concord points. Not at all amused w/ NE right now. And the needed mats from the concord pulls are clone-bound so you can't transfer from alts.

For me, the biggest problem is that, u just cant repackage this nanocore( and wish to do with my traleblazer apocalypse striker one. So all the mats are just gone. Mb we will be able to repackage them later.

Stage 1 of the expanded slots is the same as stage 2 of the normal slots.

Stage 2 of the expanded slots is like stage 4 of the standard slots.

Once you do get an expanded slot leveled up, it will automatically dump the top skill you have from the library learnt in.

However, it is completely free to change the attribute as often as you like. There's no material cost involved to swap perks out in expanded slots.

This hasn't been listed clearly enough. And there's very little to no warning. She just turns off. All mods stop. She still talks to you about nothing in particular even after your dead. As if the world was just peachy. That's my wreak over there. 4k ip to gets it back. Gold cyberx core vindi with tiger skin. The AI tool tip says 8 hrs of daylies use. I asked in general chat in discord. Was informed by players she doesn't have a usage limit. SHE DOES and she doesn't have a timer or countdown for that limit.

So my ai starts to warp me between 50 and 60 kms from anom beacon but im fit for brawling .. is there a way i can set a warp to anom distance ??
