It's definitely an oddball of an idea, but it'd be cool if the game could audio frequency analysis to determine the twisty track intensity of the song section like how the game Audiosurf does. It would be applied to custom tracks that don't have it, (which is a majority of them.)

though, a much simpler approach could also work okay maybe, something that just adds a few movements depending on time passed and/or cuepoints

I remember Mew’s old mod of it that just made a randomly generated twisty track before you were able to access it in the editor

I can think of one way this could be automated in a relatively safe way

Cycle a random simple movement at the start of every cue point

Because you don’t play with twisty in general or because you don’t want a randomly generated one?

tbh it can kinda mess with the visions people have for their charts, if they care about it, I'd probably also turn it off

yeah ofc it’ll be optional, twisty track can already toggled in settings
if youre talking about chart makers, then yeah there should be an option to not auto generate twisty track
