Imagine if there was a website that had a directory of zig packages. What would we call it? Using word of mouth or google search to find packages feels a little less organized. The GitHub heart/star system does provide an ad-hock way to test how popular or common a repo is. The rust crates website provides good metrics on how often a crate is used and how many other projects depend on it.
