Ashfang attacked (bit) me once and then calmed down. After respawn, it continues 'not attacking', just like in the previous patch.
Although it bites sometimes. Behaves as if blind. Reacts to noise 🙂
This mob has been in this state for a long time, roughly since the Steam release
