When Tsukasa got announced as part of the DS prayer I decided to finally try it out since she's been a favorite character of mine, but I've found the game mode honestly gets old really quick. Having to refight the same enemies over and over again with just a ramp up in difficulty is not enjoyable, at least for me, and having these characters locked behind it and forcing players who want those characters to grind it whether they enjoy it or not is a disappointment.

Ds has a huge accessibility problem on account of the tedious climb required to reach base 100. It's a well known issue and it'd be nice if the devs figured out a good work around or way to speed up progression.
In the mean time though, I agree with the above suggestion to have them show up in the exchange EMA for everyone not interested in partaking in the game mode.
The characters in the pool are essentially free if you do DS, but that shouldn't mean we lock them sorely behind it. If someone wants to use an Ema on a unit from the pool, they should be allowed to.

Also as an option to improve the game mode and reduce the unpleasantness of the grind, if a stage is cleared fast enough have the option to jump ahead a number of floors (4-5) and gain the cumulative rewards if you clear it. That is an option that has existed in other games for similar game modes and worked pretty well.

Yeah, I think the solution here isn't to change the availability of DS exclusive characters, it's to make Divergent Spirits less tedious of a game mode. Just let us skip to level 100 and get all the rewards at once, please devs we're begging you
