If you are using an emulator to play LW, you kinda have to accept that you will have problems. mostly because of the emulator. Until NN decides to release a PC port of the game via something like steam, there won't be much you can do besides going the hard way.

Use a transfer code instead of gmail account, the transfer code works like a username and password, generate it and then keep it somewhere safe
