I guess a number of improvements to the sort/filter system would be helpful.
Here are a few ideas (with the feasibility of implementation of some of them being highly questionable)
-
Favoriting system.
Simplest example: units can be assigned as favorite or unassigned, simple as that.
More comprehensive example: users can assign one of
,
,
to a friend. Then users can filter to show only
friends, only show
friends, etc.
Or, incorporate it into sort where, for example,
>
>
, so a descending sort will show the
s at the top whereas an ascending sort will show the
s at the top.
-
Expand the sorting options available. In-party, Limit break, friendship etc. can be added as additional sort options.
Allow the option to toggle a set multiple selection of sorting options, ordered by a customizable hierarchy (I've seen some games do this, although they have literally 1000+ unique entities). Allow the saving of 2-3 sets of these.
The idea is to allow, for example:
Sort Default: The current sort system.
Sort 1: Favorites descending> In-party descending> cost descending > universe descending
This will show all your favorites at the top and non-favorites below it.
Among your favorites, In-party friends at the top, followed by not-in-party
Among the in-party friends, we will see all the 12-costs first.
Among the 12-costs, they will be ordered by the universe sort.
An favorited, in-party, 12-cost Z1 Marisa will be very first unit possible.
Sort 2: cost ascending > rarity ascending > universe ascending
This will show the lowest cost units first (in this case, 5-cost).
With "rarity ascending", 5-cost gen units will be shown first
With "universe ascending", these 5-cost gen units are ordered by reverse universe order.
In this sort, a 5-cost L1 Reimu will be very first unit possible
- Add the ability to select customizable multi-filters in addition to the current filter options.
The multi filters will allow you to better pinpoint the exact friend you're looking for.
Example A: Filter by: Attack, FR'd, fes, in-party
-Shows all your attack-type FR'd fes friends who arecurrently in a party
Example B: Filter by: Healer/Tech, fes/sfes, favorite
-shows all your favorited healer/tech fes and sfes friends.
- Add multiple Pokemon PC-esque boxes where you can freely assign friends to. For example, you want a sakuya box so you assign all your sakuyas to that box. Now you can select that box only sakuyas.
A slot system would be a cool addition to this.
For example, you can put your potential Star EX friends to slots 1,2,3,4,5,6 etc so you can easily access and change their loadouts. This can help facilitate testing/finding the perfect party.
Another way this can be helpful is if you stopped farming Star EX and changed those friends' loadouts to tackle other stages. Now you can have your party members right next to each other, allowing you to easily change their loadouts into their Star EX ones. (Although, having a loadout saving system would be a more direct solution to this problem.)
