Loki isn't the only trickster God out there but they are the most well known and the one that most people assume they are getting when interacting with cards that don't make sense however just because your cards are cleansed it doesn't mean that they are open to being willing to read for gods (or this god specifically)

Thank you! I've been working on doing divination on purpose instead of Cassandra type mishaps, and I don't really know what to do with the little flits of foresight I do get. They dont really make sense until passed. This month I've been getting a bunch of scraps out of nowhere and I don't know like, do I write them down? Do I sing them away? Do I bury them in the ground with something like salt or rosemary or cinnamon?

Writing them down is a very good start. It tends to help with at least helping your brain, memorize the action of you getting the things and then you wanting to keep that thing in mind

ask for a bit more insight through standard techniques of divination like tarot or pendulums especially if you’re not sure that you’re even have a moment of foresight

i personally use cartomancy, dice and tarot but i’ve been using cartomancy since before i even considered a witchcraft journey so it’s been my verifier!

i don’t know if your experience is more of a flashing image thing or a saying something without much intention and it coming true but if it’s the latter- understand what you’re saying and process it before letting it it out (that’s going to take a LOT of effort)

and trying to recognise the links between moments of clairvoyance

does it happen more in one particular place? is it happening more when you’re around a specific person? is it stronger when you feel a particular way? in my experience i’ve realised that it tends to happen more when i’m discussing a persons wrongs towards me or those i care about!

those questions can help you understand the why behind it too!

I mean, fair/gen. I've done a lot of work to separate my intrusive thoughts and triggers and Any kind of divination in my brain. The examples I used are only of the things I know happened within a week of the feeling. That's kinda why I'm miffed, ya know? I know where to file intrusive thoughts, anxieties, triggers, and the such. Like, where to put them down in my brain, but not the feelings that I learn later have come to pass. Either way, I will do more note taking on the similarities and differences. Thank you for talking with me!

ah okay so generally i would say:

• stick to 1 card per question if you can
  • if more than one fallout, that's completely fine
• if you need additional information about the card that you pulled, you can always pull what I call clarifiers, which are cards used to clarify the previous question. and you would use these like asking more questions.

for example:
Given that I believe your first card is judgment if you asked something like "why is my spirit guide worried for me?" a clarifying question for your judgment card could be: "is this a question directly relating to my path?"

The reason why I'm stating sticking to one card per question is because when you start pulling a lot of cards for 1 question, you tend to run into this issue of getting conflicting answers.

Like the judgment card is something you are reading as you need to change your ways. But the eight of pentacles, can be read as directly kind of "conflicting" with that by saying that you need a buckle down and start putting in the hard work on the path that you're on.

So you can potentially ask the same question again but there's no guarantee that you're going to get the same outcome. And that's because if you try to ask the same thing numerous times you're bound to get some inconsistencies. this is just something that happens due to probability

If anything, you can remove the last four or five cards and "reset" the reading with just the judgement card!

Not sure if anyone can answer this question for me. I have been doing tarot readings for years and decided to go on discord, its so new to me and a little overwhelming. Anyways for fun I was giving free readings but some of them ended up being private readings a little bit longer then I expected, so of course my energy over the past couple of days have been drained. Sometimes I dont know how to nicely end the free reading and I keep going. I am thinking about charging for my readings. Are there any things I should be concerned about when getting paid through paypal.

I think that there's also been issues with the platform. Itself, um, though, i'm not really privy, since I don't really go through paypal as much.

When it comes to ending free readings, it's always okay to set a limit on how long a session is or how many cards you're planning on pulling

For example, if you're doing something voice related setting a limit for let's say ten cards max, x amount of clairifiers, or x hour based sessions is perfectly okay

The main thing is being able to express that you have boundaries. And that sometimes your boundaries need higher priority than people coming to you for clarification

Yeah for a lot of our readings, we have a base amount of cards we pull depending on the reading. Sometimes we pull clarifiers as needed, but yeah we generally have a set number of cards we prefer to pull which helps
Only our really good friends are people we're willing to give really long sessions to because we know that they'll respect if we need to stop and also cause friends just have those kinds of privileges

As for PayPal, we haven't really run into anything but yeah unless they do the "family and friends" option, they are able to contest the charge. However, I don't forsee that being a huge issue. I know we certainly haven't run unto it and I don't think my other witchy friends have either thankfully

i think that if the hermit is "this is how it was built" then personally i think a way to read it is:
this is a relationship that was made when both parties were in a stage of introspection and rn they are dealing with a very rocky relationship that is on the brink of falling due to (6 of sword) distance/departure/moving on. and them staying together might be not great for both parties bc (5 cup) they will be locked in their heads about what they are losing and potentially (devil) become locked in that cycle

i think its bc lenormand works on a tiered system of card readings. there are specifc ways to frame a spread (1/3 or 5/9/Grand Tableau or 36)

So its about the questions you ask not the type of spread you use here:

And you can try putting them in order and seeing if that helps letting it just reset and chill out for a few days/hours.

But it may be that the deck isnt working bc its missing parts. like how you could play chess without all the pieces but it wouldnt be an accurate game unless u replaced them

So this might vary depending on the art on the specific Four of Swords card, but generally to me it represents a very specific kind of rest; a solitary, contemplative, inward-looking kind of rest. Depending on the context of the reading or the question being asked, the Four of Swords often IMO encourages us to retreat, self-reflect, and recuperate for the journey ahead. If I pull the Four of Swords (I actually did pull it in a reading I did on Wednesday for myself) I take it as an indication that I need to carve out some time to pump the brakes, collect myself and my thoughts, and give myself a chance to breathe before resuming work on whatever's holding my main focus at the time.

I found out what my tarot birth cards are, and the fact that I'm finding out what they are now is very fitting with the situation I'm in.

To explain: I was wanting to become a content creator for the longest time, to be someone people look up to and to be a comfort for those who find comfort in streams and videos. In the past year, I've lost motivation for it and suddenly just didn't know why I want to anymore. I lost all passion for it.

Upon reading about my tarot birth cards, it mentions that it means there will be a time where I can not get the path I was originally wanting. Everything will stop me, and I'll need to step back and rethink my life and path.

Did this spread on a person (context, to the outside world my gf and i broke up (we are very together i just got sick of the bs ppl kept trying) and this person admitted to her that not only did they have a crush on her while we were openly dating but “decided to see her as friendship” but then came up with a “shenanigan” where on our results day they pretend to date her and that they’re together to get at me (??!) and this is one of two or three people I’ll be doing this spread on bc another “friend” (who had it out for me and our relationship) admitted that she had a crush dream abt my gf (while we were openly dating)and as I’m typing this I’m realising that this is all absurd and I can’t wait to leave this city my god??)

The handwriting is a little bit hard to read in some places not horrible but some of the cursive is hard to decipher a bit!

I think overall the cards that you pulled in the interpretations that you had are very solid! I think there may be some leanings into the presumed nature of the situation as a whole but thats not really overpowering what the cards are being interpreted as

Thank you sm ves! I think it’s the first time I’m going through something so blatantly disrespectful/odd without a close friend and it’s taking some adjustment- I’m realising I don’t have the energy to be ranting and raving so I went to the cards instead of becoming confrontational, I just wanted to make sure that it’s not me putting up more walls or blanketing myself in my personal grievances 🙂‍↕️

Look at the description because the author might've included a booklet with their intended meanings. But generally it shouldn't be too much of a difference

Seconding Clío. I'd look at the guidebook. The style of the suites won't drastically change anything usually, though they do change the tone and intent a bit, which is important to most practices. You can typically still use traditional tarot suite correlations unless it says otherwise. For example, my ancestral healing tarot has different suites (4 elements) but the meanings remain relatively similar. Just oriented/themed toward spirituality and liberation in terms of the tone and phrasing of the guidebook, if that makes sense.

like yes all light but its orange purple green blue which relate somewhat solidly with the suits they represent imo

Shadow = cups
Thunder = swords
Fruit = pentacles

yellow/orange = light = wand
blue = shadow = cup
purple = thunder = swords
green = fruit = pentacles

it seems like they were well thought out since those colors tend to pair well with the suits the represent

Hello everyone. I would like to hear different interpretations of this experience or if anyone has ever gone through something like this and would like to share: When I was with my ex partner, I felt that the people protecting him, like his spirit guides, passed loved ones, etc, were not fond of me. I also had the Inclination that he has been overprotected or coddled whilst being kept away from learning any vital lessons now being stunted, very behind, childish & immature. I felt that there was nasty energy with his immediate family members, towards me, seemingly for no reason, why was this? Why did it feel like it was war against me, like an uphill battle. Like his ancestors hate me for some reason… I’m going to ask the past life chat as well, but I feel like here would be a lot of interpretations that didn’t cross my mind. Thanks 4 reading ❤️

Maybe they (not the ancestors, but the family members) just didn't like you for whatever reason... Different upbringing or culture, perceiving you as some kind of imaginary threat to their established order. That kind of general hostility can easily feel more escalated.
