Christianity: Catholicism & Protestantism
Christianity is divided into Catholicism and Protestantism.
Types of Catholicism
Catholicism is divided into Roman and non-Roman ecclesial traditions. However, they are all considered universally Catholic, whereas some types of Protestantism can be of opposing beliefs / are more separate.
Types of Protestantism
Protestantism is divided into Evangelical Protestantism, mainline Protestantism, and Historically Black Protestantism. However, there are types of Protestantism that are a part of all three (for example, different sects of Baptism belong to all three).

Christian Denominations and Beliefs submitted by @cyan abyss
I found some resources on the different Christian denominations and their beliefs as well as a pdf going over the history of Christianity that also goes over how some of those denominations formed. One of these explains this but even within the denominations they're differences in beliefs between different churches as well as each individual Christian.
This first one is just a list of different denominations and shows just how many there actually are and links to their beliefs:
https://www.churchrelevance.com/2012/06/22/qa-list-of-christian-denominations-and-their-beliefs/
This one goes over the differences in certain major beliefs in 7 of the major denominations including Anglican / Episcopal, Assembly of God, Baptist, Lutheran, Methodist, Presbyterian, and Roman Catholic. tw: ||violence and blood|| ||This one does include a picture of a reenactment of the Crucifixion||: https://www.learnreligions.com/comparing-christian-denominations-beliefs-part-1-700537
This last one goes over some basic history of Christianity and how some of the denominations formed bc of it and central Christian beliefs:

Catholic Saints by @twin stirrup
so would you "call on" your patron saint with a prayer then? what does that look like?”
there are SO many saints!!!! s o many. there is a saint for pretty much anything and everyone. Some are definitely more well known than others, but there are over ten thousand of them (those are just the canonized ones). you can absolutely involve them in your craft! it's common for catholics to either be given a patron saint at birth or choose them thru the confirmation process. they are, well, a patron, and stay with you for life to help you get closer to god (they aren't for worship- but you can venerate them).
here's some good websites on saints!

Distinctions between Pastors and Priests
The roles are fundamentally the same but to get into specifics: a Pastor is the non-denominational/Protestant equivalent and a Priest has roots in Greek Orthodox/Catholic traditions and must be ordained by a Bishop who is ordained by a line going straight to the Pope.
The main difference between the two terms is denomination, as non-denominational & Protestant congregations do not follow the pope/the levels of hierarchy. (note: some American priests will use the term pastor)
Some sects require that priests/pastors must be men, but there are sects of both branches that allow women to be ordained.

While Christianity is often thought of as hostile to any form of magical practice, history reveals that magic has been practiced through all of Christian history. In this episode of Esoterica we explore the earliest Christian magic preserved in Greek and Coptic sources from late-classical Egypt. Here we find a wide range of magical practices f...

Praying Novenas resource by @jolly saffron
Here is a resource on praying novenas. It is for the Christianity/Catholicism section, though I've tried to use accessible language (I believe anyone could adapt novenas for their own use). I hope this resource is adequate, but please let me know what I can do to adjust it further or if there are any issues ❤️ you folks are appreciated!

From the site:
"The Life and Teachings of Jesus of Nazareth is a “gospel harmony” – a compilation of the gospels presented in chronological order. It was written in an easy-to-read translation developed in partnership with Bible League International. It presents a readable and accessible account of the four gospels."
