The Show Off achievement is "Escape the dungeon without obtaining any upgrade items", and I just completed the Ascetic Soul Delve which doesn't have any upgrade items to grab. However, I wasn't given the Show Off achievement.

The delves don't give the achievements
Unless the achievement is "complete X number of delves"
I tried getting it using hunters, by not picking up the already limited relics and I didn't get it
But it makes sense
They want a real run to count
Not one with custom modifiers

I understand Hunters not counting because you skip portions of the dungeon which makes the achievement easier
But Ascetic’s run is the exact same thing, unless there is additional help somewhere I don’t know about

they dont want to forget about future synergies with certain milestones and delves so theyre just off
also if they were to make ascetics able to trigger show off, it would basically ruin the point of one of them

The delves are definitely one of the weakest part of the game. I really want to rework them to make them more fun an more unique. And I agree that some delves could still give achievements to make them more worthwhile. But yeah, we don't want people cheesing the speedrun achievement for example by doing the hunters delve lol

Or relicless since hunters only has the 1 rest stop relic
Sometimes it's not even worth to pick that up
But I do think that astetics shpuld be able to count for food less and relicless
Imo, any of the delves that has harder or equal difficulty to a normal run should have achievements allowed
So hunters is easier, less relics, but less enemies in the way
