I know it's hard to make something physics based, so I have an idea. What if you made a whip that extends with a flick of the wrist, and has a slight auto aim towards the nearest enemy. The auto aim wouldn't be very strong, so you'd still have to try to actually whip enemies, but it would be strong enough to redirect you if you were a few inches off. By holding trigger while you attack an enemy (with the whip in hand), you could grapple an enemy. Grappling would do little to no damage, but would allow you to fling enemies in the direction you pull them, whether that be into a wall, another enemy, or into a pit. For the secondary, it could either be a blunt weapon allowing you to grapple enemies toward you and smash them to bits, or a throwable coming from a pouch. Without being too Castlevania-ey, the pouch could contain kunais, hatchets, or maybe a utility like little black powder bombs or a buff of some kind. This whip combo gives players the illusion of a physics based weapon, but still being easier to create while still being a fun and chaotic weapon.

*worth noting that this weapon would be found in the castle courtyard floor that is still in development, and would require 75 kills on that floor to unlock.
It’d actually be nice if the combo itself had a bit of a Belmont theme to it
Every existing weapon combo has a name for it like the Magicians armament(Tome and Wand) or the Assassins armament(Crossbow and Dagger)
So it’d probably be better to pair the whip with a weapon that complements its theme rather than another random weapon like a kunai lol
