With the armored slimes if you break the armor in one hit it still doesn't damage them until a couple more hits

How fast did you hit it? The sword for example has kind of a cooldown between hits

Let me reiterate, I hit the slime hard enough to break the armor, visually it has no armor but it still acts as if it does for a few more hits, even if I space my swings out more than .7s between each, this is incredibly annoying and a good way to lose a long run
