Hi uhmm i don't know if this is the right place to ask but I'm having like. severe issues with the game
it keeps resetting my data and it's insanely infuriating!! i was close to 100% the game and i've been playing with all my data up until about 40 minutes ago when my data reset for the second time now
i'm worried this is going to be a recoccuring issue and was wondering how to fix it because it's genuinely upsetting having to play the game from scratch against your will :o(
i was thinking that it may just be a device issue (as im using a relatively new quest 3) and maybe it's just. not very compatible with it? my storage is great and i don't have any issues with the game or headset other than my data getting wiped

Don't know what exactly causes it, but ErThu has talked about how to restore old saves. I sadly only found his instructions in #🧙│ask-the-dev , so you might have to scroll past some unrelated messages in-between:

So. It did not work
My data hasn't been reset since I made this report, but I don't doubt that it will happen again.
What now?

Was there no backup, did it not load, or what happened?

It seemed like it just wiped the entirety of my game for no apparent reason? No hints that I even played the game previously other than recorded videos and pictures I took in the past
