Basically I had a run saved in the mines, I killed the beast, started ng+ and got pretty far into the infested dungeon before crashing. Then, I use this run again, kill the beast, then think to immediately go to save and quit so that if it crashes again I don't have to start from the damn mines again but, as if the game were taunting me, it crashed right as my hands touched the save and quit and I didn't even get to click it. Are there at least any logs I can check to see what the hell is going on???
