Eventually the amount of players will reach a peak and drop off. Even if millions people are playing the game, the devs only get paid once. If there was a way a player could choose to watch an ad or something, out of our own freewill and choice, we could support the devs while not having to pay for more expansion packs. This is the first rpg multiplayer vr game I have played that has progression in it, I don't want the game to be abandoned later. More money for devs could mean more updates and thus happy players, everyone wins.

Making us pay to not watch ads = unhappy players
"could choose"
no, if anything it should be donations
I agree, Donations are more profitable than optional ads anyways
you know the world is cooked when people start asking for ads
It’s better than begging to remove ads ig?
What is this? Seems like a plant
optimal option : DLC/Cosmetics
I don't understand. In the announcement they mentioned being far away from 1.0. Shouldn't the game hit 1.0 before dlc?
Yeah I’m not saying dlc now ofc
I can't afford microtransactions and I sure as hell don't don't relic microtransactions. But I can afford time to watch an ad out of support. Donations would be a really good option as well, especially something easy like venmo
I just don't want to see a cool game die off in a few years. If you guys have a better way that the devs and the people are happy, then I am all for it. Eventually the devs will have spent the money generated from this game and will have to either charge us more or will have to work on a different game. I guess mods could take the place of the updates, but there isn't a guarantee we will have good mods that are compatible with each other, there is a guarantee that the devs can implement things that work seamlessly though.
You know the world is fucked up when people start asking for ads 😭🙏
Dude, we don’t want ads, that’d make the game so much worse, no paid game has ads like that and we dont want it turning into a cheap game, donations or dlc.
ads to support the devs are not the way to go
they give like 1-5 cents
