It's really tedious to have to store large numbers of potions and foods, especially if any more are intended to be added

My solution to this is to add a few new ways to save items (other than leaving them in the floor)

Here are some cool options

Shop box: an interdimensional box in the shop that can hold 6 or so items, but it costs 20 coins to unlock in each shop. The contents of the box would be universal for each run, allowing you to save food for later floors. This would let you transport many more items, with the catch of having to withdraw them from the chest maybe could be an insight upgrade

Friendly mimic: thanks to @opal wharf for this idea, a relic that spawns a friendly chest mimic to follow you and maybe attack enemies, but it has two inventory slots in its mouth

Lost backpack: adds two inventory slots, potentially at a loss of movement speed

Mini chest: a small box that can carry a few items, but also fits in one of your pockets (to avoid infinity, a mini chest cannot hold other mini chests

Backpack: a container on your back that can hold 4 items, but it's not usable during quick combat because you have to take it off, open it, remove items, close it, and put it back in before you can resume fighting
