#Don't let sacrifice statues be destroyed by a simple trigger press

Because sacrifice statues require you to press both triggers to activate, I have multiple times accidentally caused my weapon to destroy the statue, simply by pressing the trigger. (I recognize my forgetfulness is part of the problem here, but I imagine all newer players are going to end up learning this the hard way. They may even think that they correctly used the statue if they see it break -- thinking it's single-use, when you can really get multiple uses out of it.)

Is there a way to either require some sort of movement -- e.g., a full swing of a melee weapon / shot of the crossbow / throw of the knife -- in order for the statue to be destroyed?

If that's not possible, could you consider other options, like multiple hits required / higher statue health, or otherwise some other way to activate the statue without triggers (for example, insert weapon into a hole -- that's probably a bad idea, but you get what I'm generally going for)?

No, you can certainly choose to destroy them. But my point is that you can get multiple uses out of them (for example, spend 1 key 10 times and get multiple relics, and it'll eventually break on its own), as opposed to accidentally breaking it on the first payment and missing out on another 9 uses.
