The paladins wield a hammer and shield.
The hammer can be thrown, and the shield allows a dash (much like the doom shroom and king slimes) that deals damage and knock back, however, doing this will cause it to shatter, with a cool down appearing on the hand it is used on (much like a mark but kills aren't required) doing this renders it unusable for a short while as it rebuilds itself.
You can also use the shelf to block damage, but this chips away at it's durability, until the shattering phase occurs.
This can only be unlocked after beating 3x hard mode with both the crossbow and sword.
The lack of mobility provides greater difficulty with evasion, meaning players will have to get creative with how they tackle bosses.
