If I use the Twitch alerts from my creator dashboard and set an MP4 for video and audio, it will not pull the video in Twitch Studio when I test the alert, but it does play the audio. I get around this by encoding the video as a gif file, and it loads just fine. It would be nice to not have to split my videos into gifs and wavs for every alert though.

maybe try a different format? like webm you didn't mention what codec you have used in the video.

Twitch Alerts use files from two sources: image library and sound library. If I'm using a file that has both audio and video and I want to use both, I render them separately using a video editor, then upload them. Also, you'll get better use out of your library storage if you use mp4 format for video images instead of gif.
