also check the bitrate. quicktime doesn't do 6Mbps like twitch studio

What are you capturing? under main screen share, what do you see? are you capturing fullscreen app or the game window or entire monitor?

I tried capturing minecraft. It is a bit blurry. Capture entire monitor seems fine.

Is your app running full screen? Un fullscreen it first. Mac doesn’t see the other desktop

I generally don't use fullscreen application capture on my macbook pro. Mainly because I flip between apps and it screws up. entire monitor if you are comfortable with people seeing your desktop, or specific app (I used this most of the time)
but like you said. specific app looks a bit low res for minecraft, so I would use entire monitor for that. there might be workarounds, but M1 might be stressed.
