#Overlay woes

Still in my first week of streaming and so far this application has been fine and dandy. Chat in the overlay had such a bad delay i decided do get rid of it, except it wont go away. First i just unselected it on overlay settings like you think it would work. Then i have gone as far as to completely disable overlay. It is still showing up on screen and the chat messages stay there until the next ones pushes them away. Auto delete feature never worked once. What i cant understand is with overlay completely turned off, why does it keep showing up? I do miss seeing who the new followers are but that is a small price to pay for a chat message floating on the screen, never changing, on a new streamers screen with not much traffic yet...

In twitch studio. You’re disabling the in-game overlay and it still shows?

So me a favor and reboot your PC. See if that helps. If not. Can you submit a bug report.

How to submit a bug report

  • If you're in the app, "Help" button is in the upper right, then choose "Report a Bug"
  • Alternatively, you can click the hamburger menu in the very upper left corner, then click Help > Report Bug
  • Please give us as much information as possible - describe in detail what is wrong and what you've already tried

Go into Edit scene, locate the chat layer. and look at the settings on the right side.

that's not the same as in-game overlay
