tried removing/adding sources, messing with my playback devices, i have my mic muted and everything sounds fine but when i start stream, the audio on twitch is doubled and echoing or looping although it sounds fine in studio.

and when i stop audio input it continues to echo getting quieter and quieter. I have an external microphone with the output set to my headset

if i take my headphones off and watch the stream from my phone for instance it still echos

i had my mic muted to be sure that it wasn't picking any audio up from my mic

What happens when you do a sound check

Are you able to change that to default speakers.
