#Twitch drop connection for streaming

I'm currently streaming in a category that's participating in drops and can find my stream there. I've got drops enabled and have looked to see if there's something within Twitch Studio or dashboard that's not allowing viewers to gain percentage for it. It's really weird as I had no issues when doing this for overwatch a few weeks ago and a few day ago it seemed like it was working. It's like something through twitch/twich studio or dashboard isn't recognizing things and even tho the stream shows participating in the drop campaign, viewers on my stream aren't getting credit. any help is appreciated

it is automatic. on twitch side.

so then the only way to correct it being broken is through twitch support?

as long as your drops are enabled in your settings

@scenic cloak thanks, yes it's enabled. even tried disabling/reenabling and no go. guess it looks like I'll have to see what they say through support. Just sucks for attempting to help out viewers during the campaign. Been raiding other channels to help get viewers over so they're set but the only way for me to play with it is being online :/

streaming with the category should automatically getting a "DropsEnabled" tag added.

if i go to participating channels through drop on another account, i can see and connect to my stream

#

nothing activated to allow the drop %

#

no notification either

#

it SHOULD be automatic but for some reason, it seemed to die on me and restarting things hasn't changed anything

#

thanks again. hopefully I'll get an answer for why this isn't working through twich

"The developer decides which channels have Drops." it could be this as well

slow wraith
#

oh maybe

#

so if that's the case, could be the developer restricting access to my channel specifically or enabling it only for specific channels? I don't see that tho as if that was the case, wouldn't I be removed from the participating channel?

#

or twitch would recognize the streamer as participating but the developer would have some type of restriction in place that wouldn't allow things to work?

scenic cloak
#

only the devs would know

slow wraith

through the website they have it restricted by location but I fall under that and yesterday and day before it was working

#

thanks for the help

#

think this'll be one of those things i'll have to get answers through support.
