#Strength attribute

Although this may not be known to many people, each neighbor has stat attributes. The "strength multiplier" correlates to how much damage you deal - for combat this is fine, but this also applies to structural damage. For example, Doreen deals 20 damage per hit to structures with the saw without using any perks that increase damage dealt, whilst Mary-Jean deals 15.
Since this doesn't seem to be very common knowledge, I'm interested in hearing what other people think about this. Do you think this stat should apply to structural damage, or should they all be the same across the board (excluding perks)?

I think there should be a difference between damage, I think it would be unfair if Kevin and Doreen dealt the same amount of damage to structures, but I think Mary Jean should get a buff in damage

i dont think mary jean should, she gets in for free similar to kevin and P.A.

you can freely open the exit doors when your INSIDE the opposing house, so getting out isn't so much the issue and kevin is easy to kill which is a negative to his mobility, while P.A. just doesn't really have dmg on your side, not to mention u also have a smoke bomb as mary, which makes its very free to get out

you have a shorter entry period compared to the other 2 rat character yet is required multiple times, in exchange for a very FREE escape

shes the only rat character that has an in and an out, as different abilities aka allowing use for back to back if needed unlike kevin or PA where u have to know when to commit

she's easily the strongest rat character, because she has no drawback to ratting

i think it has a much heavier effect as the destruction tools get more powerful though

while yes i agree that getting out isnt the issue i think that getting repeatedly in is. The good thing that kevin and pa have is that they are versetile while marry jeans only thing is getting into the house and braking stuff. The problem with that emerges once the enemy has basball pitcher to which kevin can do dmg making him better in that regard. Pa after the nerf isnt that good but i still think he has upsides that marry doesnt

ok so to get something you have to sac something right

so fundamentally bcus she has a free IN and and free OUT, she doesnt need mobility, because otherwise she'd be there instantly

kevin and PA have mobility but they dont have a Free in, they have to work there in, they're still faster than others bcus ofc they get there faster than the others but there simply just not as fast as mary jean at getting IN

kevin has good player dmg, and has a mobility skill, so in turn he doesnt have alot of health, and also has commitment issues, u either use ur mobility to get in OR out

PA is in a similar situation but instead of having good player dmg he has more hp

Mary jean is the only character that has no mobility and no good player dmg yet and of consequence she doesn't have to deal with the commitment issue PA and Kevin do

hence why she is the best RAT character, both PA and kevin are better at other segments of the game than her

I get where you're coming from, though I think Kevin's grapple currently has a low enough cooldown that by the time you've grappled over, broken through a window, and began breaking an appliance, your grapple will be close to available again for escaping
But over all I think I agree

she serves a niche, that is somewhat overlapped by other character but not to the degree she can do them

i dont think mary needs a buff at all though

and maybe kevin gets a bit more power (if needed else where to account for grapple nerf)

I deal a whopping 39 damage to utilities with a golf club, Tai Chi perk on Kim. 5-6 hits is all it takes
