When near, make friendly traps have an outline (blue, same color as in team)so we know it's not a enemy trap also be able to tag enemy traps with middle mouse button this way it would give them a red outline temporarily

thats cool, would be even better if any structure you are attacking auto tagged for your team so they know what your up to

Hmmm yeah if you would damage a structure and ping it, it would like show to your teammates the structure you are attacking and health percentage this would surely help coordinate better with teammates... I think the pings could use a rework
