Viking age saws! Yes the vikings actually had saws! They were primarily used more for bone and antler carving than woodworking but there were a few meant for wood! Theres a channel on yt called ramuni viking craft and reenactment that did a 2 part video series going in depth of their history and design and in the second part he creates his own with just hand tools.

They look more like viking seax knives with saw teeth, the bow saw wasnt part of that but would be cool to see ya make one for your kit as well lol
