I've had this one up on project submission for a few days, I guess this is a more appropriate place for it. The design is based off a gorget from 1600's france that is featured on the website for the Metropolitan museum. The original is made from steel and gold, and I am not trying to perfectly copy the art, but rather come up with something inspired by it. The purpose of the project is really to test my skill. There's a lot of stuff I'm doing on this project that I normally wouldn't because, up until now, I wouldn't have imagined I could do it this well.
