I thought I'd just share what I made tonight as a means of introducing myself. My favorite game for 20-something years has been Fallout 2, and I love skinning those gecks. I got a pile of scraps from a leather worker for $3, all greens. Even the black is a very dark green. It's mostly cow except for the centerpieces, and I'll let you guess for a bit of added fun what those skins are. I did asterisk embroidery that gives me a bit of a mid century Googie style to me. Most people probably won't see that but it all builds up in layers of detail. And I'm having fun for me lol. The jacket is sorta suggestive of armor, but I will be wearing this to the grocery store and stuff, so the elements are a little more subtle. Relatively lol.

Yes, it's ostrich! I was actually so inspired by that leg. It's so far removed from the gecko, but ostriches and geckos are far more closely related than cows are to either of those, so it works in a funny way. The scutes in the middle that look just like belly scutes on a snake are on the top of the foot.
