Right on! Actually you reminded me (earlier) that I need to re-pole my Norman. Only 3 poles, almost done already. Without the exterior boards to ornament, I intend to add an animal head finial to the end of the ridge pole at the door.

I think I'm going to carve in some knotwork and cut some brass plate to tack over the knots. Might look cool in the sun
