am unsure of where to start with this clothing? Love the colour sceam for my rougish druid. Not making the staff. This feels a bit overwhelming and I can't figure out where to start

Start from the beginning! (Just kidding, although, not really).

The first step is to determine what he is actually wearing. I can see (nice drawing, by the way) a short sleeved long coat, a tunic-like garment with fur around the cuffs, trousers, boots, a few belts and sashes with pouches (and a cool buckle), and fingerless gloves. The way the coat falls seems to indicate that it's kinda light and not padded for warmth. I suppose that's what the tunic is for (with the fur).

Out of all that, what are you going to make, and what are you planning to buy?
-# Like, if it were me I'd buy the pouches, the belts, the buckle, the boots and the gloves, and I'd make the rest

I would recommend starting from the inside and working your way out. I would personally start with the pants first, then the blue tunic, and then the overcoat.

Okay

For the pants, they seem relatively plain. I think you can find tutorials for pants on the Internet.

For the tunic:
How thick should the tunic be? Would you be wearing something under it?
In any case, to get a pattern, you could make the good old Sacrifice to the Gods of Sewing (cut parts from an old shirt that is the correct size, test before that it fits with all the layers you want to have under it and use them as a pattern, don't forget seam allowance). Then it's a matter of sewing the parts together. Tunics are basically T-shirts too long from the bottom, I suggest finding tutorials for T-shirts if you're not familiar with making them

And you can worry about the coat later

#

Also
I think in general crafting involves a lot of (simple, if sometimes tedious) reverse-engineering of the things you want to make

tht is true, already have a pattern for the belt and pouch, those are the asy once

This here is a really really simple tutorial for making pants. They'll look a little bit different, but thought I'd put them here just in case.

Historically inspired pants don't have to be difficult! This sewing tutorial is aimed at beginner sewists making their first projects, but these kind of trousers are a great basic outfit piece that can suit pretty much every kit and costume. I have used these Rus viking type of pants for historical, fantasy and many other genres of larp. And bes...

I don't think it will really matter, especially if your tunic is covering it. Up to you though.

the belt will be over the tunic

Ah. Still up to you. I personally don't like anything on my person flapping around so the "tails" of the belt are fairly short.
