#Chest Size Matches Contents or Chest Type Matches Contents Setting

The only place I can think of where a chest is used because of its size is that one room in PoT where you can jump up to the next level from the top of the chest. Are there any others, and does this matter for any of them?
I would like to try to get this feature done as soon as we can since it is probably the 2nd most important thing after hints for races. It seems like it wouldn't be too bad to develop in theory.
Another one which might be interesting is the small chests under the 2 towers around the campfire in the desert. Those already don't take anything, but I wonder if you would be able to open them without destroying the towers if they were big.
Another chest you can use because of its size is the one in the room after the Deku Toad to get over the railing
I wonder if we would be better off trying to adjust the texture instead. Like having a property on the chest which tells it whether to use the normal texture or a recolored one we generate. Or alternatively we can say anything that makes use of the size of a chest is not in logic
Mines has one too
Outdoor room SK chest
If it's big you can OoB to the upper part
Another thing to consider for this is the cutscene that plays when a chest appears, such as in grottos. I don't think this ever happens with a small chest currently
Yeah, that's also a problem with trying to implement CSMC in Skyward Sword Rando. Only the regular blue chests have the spawn in animation and small chests/bk chests don't
Just thought of this, but if the spawn in issue can't be resolved, what if Wolf Sense could somehow serve as a "CSMC"? Like if you could find a way to make scent fumes hover around a chest, that could indicate progress items. Alternatively, one of those fallen soldiers from HC could be spawned next to a chest and stare at it, letting you know that it's a progress item. (Since they "show you the way" in HC)
Would take a lot of work I'm sure, but it could be really cool and act as TP's unique twist on CSMC that no other game can really replicate
The scent thing would really be nice since the fumes are visible from quite a distance, often letting you quickly scan areas and skip barren chests
It's an interesting idea. I am not sure that it would be the best in terms of gameplay since you would have to swap to wolf every time (and you would have to have crystal as well).
