#boot PIN on HappyModel EPW6 ELRS PWM receiver

UPDATE: Pretend I didn't mention cyclone and instead I'm talking about a HappyModel EPW6 PWM Rx

I have this cheap cyclone ELRS PWM receiver and I'm looking to make it easy to flash it using an UART. I'd really like to avoid pressing the boot button, the CH1 signal is also labelled as BOOT.

Do I need to pull this pin high to 3.3V or low to GND to make it enter boot mode? Do I need to use a transistor, a simple resistor and can I keep it held either high or low, or does it need to be momentarily held when I power up and then must be removed. even if it has to be temporary an easier button than the SMD would make my life a lot easier.

Thanks for the help,

The ELRS team works closely with manufacturers to review and test hardware. It isn't until after testing that a specific Configurator target is added.

Hardware not listed in the Configurator means the hardware did not pass requirements, or the manufacturer has chosen not to collaborate. In this case the manufacturer should be contacted for support.

Take away message... Check the Configurator and support manufacturers that support open source and the ExpressLRS project 💪

Well played. Pulling the PWM1 signal pin on the HM EPW6 to GND should have the same effect as pressing the boot button. Unsupported receivers will self destruct.
