I would not recommend this, for 8 motors you will need different PID setup, so if you install 8 motors on drone which is configured for 4 motors - it WOULD NOT fly

at first you need 8 ESCs, than you need FC which you can configure(betaflight, INAV, Ardupilot)

In theory you can configure this FC, but im not sure
