Can I remove the "unused" antennas from the receiver?

I mean if i use the RX only on 900MHz can i remove the antennas for 2.4GHz?

Yes. Even better would be to go into wifi mode and go to /hardware.html and remove the values from "Dual Power Value(s)". This will ensure that it will not use 2.4 at all.
You can always "reset" it back if you ever need to use 2.4 again.
