#Using ELRS hardware to detect and send non-ELRS signals

This is a bit of an odd question and I'm not really sure where to ask it but since I'd like to use ELRS hardware for this I thought I'd throw it here;

I have a whoooole bunch of those cheapo rc park fliers that I've been sent over the years and they all have terrible shitty transmitters that go with them. After some research I've found that most claim to operate at 2.4Ghz, the same as ELRS which is what I use for any aircraft I've built myself, so I'd like to try and get them to work with my radiomaster boxer elrs transmitter.

My understanding is that I could use something like a Software-Defined Radio to analyze the appropriate signals and then program edgetx to mimick them and I am a programmer by trade so that's not really too far out of my comfort zone based off a quick glance at everything, but this all seems like something that somebody's likely done before.

Is anyone aware of an existing method of mapping random 3rd party transmitter signals to my radiomaster boxer elrs transmitter so I can fly all of my models from the same transmitter? Or do I gotta totally DIY this myself.

Also I might be a programmer but I'm no signal expert .-.; If I'm totally misunderstanding how all this works and this isn't even possible if I recode things myself I would love to find out here instead of the hard way lol

Can I install the new firmware and Lua scripts onto a new SD card cuz I'm thinking that the one that came with it is corrupted
