Hi all, having some issues with mission planner not connecting to a betafpv micro 868 mhz transmitter module running airport- the module says on its screen that its connected to an ep900 rx running airport, however mission planner fails to connect, citing "No heartbeat packets received". Also had an issue when setting up airport on the receiver- when checking "use for airport", no baud rate selection option came up- it did for the tx, and 4800 baud was chosen given the 868mhz frequency. The transmitter module is recognised on the pc as "Silicon Labs CP210X USB to UART bridge".
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks 🙂

what about the dipswitches at the back? what were their positions?
Only 3 and 4 are on
1,2 should be ON since you are using the usb port
Should I keep 3 and 4 on too ?
Cool, I’ll try that 👌
No longer getting the no heartbeat message, still no connection though. With around 8 seconds left on the mission planner connection timeout, the module fan cuts out and then the entire module restarts. Also causes the connection attempt to end
the receiver and this module is connected though?
did you do the test from the airport guide?
Not got an FTDI, but it says connected on the tx module screen
Error codes it throws when it restarts the module
revisit the setup guide for airport.. and get yourself an uart adapter and do the test..
Working now… I just reflashed both with the same settings, and is working. Sorry for wasting your time, and thanks for the help regardless 😅
How long is the delay that occurs in the mission planner when compared to SIK radio?
Have you heard of #mavlink-rc ? 100x better* for as ardupilot. Still in development however, and only does both rc + mavlink, not just one
Oh I just saw the dates sorry, but that comment might still be of interest to you
Start a new thread or ask in #mavlink-rc or #airport depending on which you are asking about
