I'm stuck! I have a new TX16S MKII with an internal ELRS. I'm trying to upgrade it to the latest ExpressLRS firmware. I have tried all 3 methods and nothing works. I did install the elrsV3.lua on the SD Card. I have it setup for the CrossFire Protocol on Internal. I can't get the transmitter to setup it's own ExpressLRS TX network. The network does not show up on my computer or phone. I'm attaching the log file for when I try to do it via UART. I'm hoping somebody can help me.

Can you post a photo of your TX16S Box Top Flap?
Do you mean the label on the card board box?
Box Top Flap.. it has a sticker of what variant you actually have
like so (Says 4-in-1; should be ELRS)
like this
Got it. If I can figure out how to ???
Box, Top Flap. Camera, Photo.
Funny... It's the posting I'm stuck on.
on the left of the text box where you type your message is a + button
select Upload File
It's the easy stuff that gets ya.
Does the Lua Script load under the Tools Page in the System Menu?
Sys Key, scroll down to ExpressLRS, press Entery/Scroll Wheel button
Like this?
Follow the via ETX Passthrough Flashing Guide here:
https://www.expresslrs.org/quick-start/transmitters/rm-internal/
OK, I'll watch JB and give it a go. Thanks.
I can't get to the ExpessLRS WiFi page. That's because my TX16S won't start a local network. If I try to do it using the USB / UART method I don 't see a place in the ExpressLRS configurator to enter the repartitioner file name?
I recommended via ETX Passthrough and posted the Flashing Guide above
The above guide is good, just follow along. You won't need to worry about the repartitioner when doing edge tx passthrough, that's wifi updated stuff.
OK and that's what I was trying to do. But... I go SYS>ExpressLRS>WiFiConnectivity>Enable WiFi >OK, shouldn't the TX16S set up a local network that I then connect my computer to?
that's not the via ETX Passthrough though
have you also tried with another device to connect to the access point?
like your smartphone perhaps?
is your computer set to connect to 2.4GHz networks or just 5GHz?
YEA!!!! And Thank You so much. I changed my Network so that it was both 2.4 & 5 and that seems to have fixed it. I don't know why my network was set that way anyway??? Thanks again. I'll sleep better tonight.🛌
