Go back to this and make sure the current model is set up for ExpressLRS use
https://www.expresslrs.org/quick-start/transmitters/tx-prep/
Everything looks fine
can you post screenshots please
model menu -> internal/external rf settings
try setting the baud rate to 3.25M or 400K
what does the LED on the module show?
it is in wifi mode.. reboot it..
did you flash it with the option UART_INVERTED enabled?
don't reboot it..
load the webui then
post screenshot of the webUI options tab..
havent done anything with flashing
ah.. no options tab.. still in 2.x
took it out of the box and tried to load lua to check if it connects
reboot it and set baud rate on the model settings to 3.75M or 400K
Doesn't work with either 400k or 3.75m
can you check if none of the pins on your external bay is bent or missing?
well, that's not the important pin.. so that's fine..
Last time you said that broken pin has no substance
I am here from that Aion nano module problem 😄
do you want me to cut that pin off from mine and load the lua script with one of my nano modules?
I made a controller update from opentx to edgetx i was wondering can that make any problems
No
it shouldn't really.. as long as the model is set up for use with an external module, and the physical connection's there.. then it'll work
well looking to settings and physical connections it looks fine module starts up and led light lights up
it blinks orange, yes?
then goes into green breathing pattern after 60s
Yes
can you connect a usb power bank or usb charger into the module WHILE it is on the radio and see whether that will enable you to load the lua script
Still loading…
you've not reflashed this module?
no havent done anything just took it out of the box and put it on the controller. Downloaded lua script from ExpressLRS configurator and put it in sd card in scripts --> tools folder. And wanted to check if the lue loads up
try reflashing the module.. keep baud rate to 400k for now..
what ExpressLRS Configurator version are you using?
you're flashing via UART
yeah, "via uart"
per the advisory you posted: you can update straight to 3.2.0 without repartitioner or going to 2.5.2 first if flashing via uart
you didn't changed the dipswitches position inside the module, did you?
here's the flashing guide
https://www.expresslrs.org/quick-start/transmitters/es24tx/#flashing-via-usbuart
So i need to disassemble the module and find those dipswitches?
yeah.. four screws is all it takes to get to those dipswitches
Set it like this
Returned dipswitch positions back to normal operation
and assembled everything back
but the lua doesn't load up
could you try increasing baud rate to 3.75M please
it's detected to be on 500Hz
do you have any other lua script running as a widget?
I mean do you have like yaapu or inav telemetry widget..
No havent tried anything with telemetry
you've never tried this on a mate's radio?
have you tried on a friend's radio?
Got it working
Problem was with the adapter
Somehow it got the power, but couldn’t transfer data
Took everything apart, checked if there isn’t any broken cables. Found nothing. The put everything back and it worked.
