This has been a long recurring problem for a few years now and it actively frustrates me to no end.
I have all of my language settings set to English and yet there are still seemingly random moments where the audio is in Mandarin Chinese and Mandarin Chinese ONLY, and more recently, audio and subtitles in, you guessed it, MANDARIN CHINESE ONLY.
While I value the ability to choose which language play in with separate options for both dubbing and subtitles, the complete and repeated failure to make sure everything stays consistent with said settings is laughable.
You can't possibly expect me to believe a very high-value company can't afford to quality check their work.
This reeks of laziness, amateurism, and corporate corner-cutting.
On top of all of this, the recent chapters all read like they've been translated by Google or something with very minimal effort put in to ensure and maintain quality. It's borderline self-sabotage.
I'm tired of this. Such easily avoided failures are crippling the ability to enjoy and remain immersed in a story that already needs a serious rework. Arbitrarily cutting out chapters in an update doesn't count.
