The engine upgrade has, for me personally and people I know, led to a great performance boost in many aspects of the game, however, one major issue I and many other Widescreen / Ultrawide users have encountered is the inability to run the game in full-screen after this update, and as such, the inability to arrange the UI position properly.
#PC client - Widescreen / Ultrawide compatibility issue (and a possible remedy)

This issue prevents buttons from being arranged to the right third of the screen, as there is an invisible barrier there, acting as the edge of the screen.
Because of this, all the buttons get compacted into a much smaller frame, leading to the overlap and clutter that can be seen in the image above.
No matter how hard you try, you cannot move buttons past this invisible barrier. This issue stems from a couple of different factors, of which I believe fixing either one would solve the issue entirely.
The first factor is the invisible barrier itself - if it were able to be disabled, it would allow for widescreen players to move their buttons to the edge of the screen even in borderless window mode.
The second factor is the lock on the 'Full Screen' button in the Graphics Settings. This prevents users from enabling the Full Screen setting if their resolution is greater than 2560x2048 pixels, as shown below:
While this used to be locked before, it was circumnavigable by maximising the window (through task manager / alt+enter). Now no matter what you do the option is always locked for widescreen players.
The interesting thing about this lock, however, is that while it suggests the game cannot run in Full Screen at higher resolutions, that isn't true. I tested this by lowering my monitor's resolution after closing the game, then launching the game again. My resolution then was less than the stated maximum threshold, so I was able to enter fullscreen. Yet, when I then reverted my resolution back to 3440x1440p (21:9 Widescreen), the game remained in Full Screen, and the button positions were freely moveable again.
The underlying issue with this is that this process must be repeated EVERY TIME the game is launched, or else Full Screen, and proper button positioning alongside it, is completely inaccessible to widescreen and ultrawide users.
Regarding the compatibility of different aspect ratios, I have discovered no problems with playing in native 21:9, or in even more unconventional aspect ratios, as shown in tests below:
The game can function as intended in absolutely any aspect ratio from what I have tested, so that leads into another possible remedy for this issue; removing the lock on the Full Screen button.
If the lock on the Full Screen button were simply removed unconditionally, it would allow for much greater ease for players with unconventional aspect ratio displays to enjoy the game, and, I can assume would be an easier factor to fix than the invisible-barrier factor.
From what I have tested, the problems almost if not all widescreen and ultrawide players are facing after this update does not stem from incompatibility, but rather inaccessibility. I hope that a simple change could be made soon to remedy this issue, as it would be a massive help!
