I'm not gonna lie, this one's been on my mind as a moderate Dorm enjoyer and going for max affection on my favorite units.
I read all the Affection stories and voice lines too.
Do you ever stop and think "shouldn't the boxing gloves also be a good gift for Yata?" I did, and well...I kinda wanna see it happen.
This goes for some other units as well, like Selena getting Noan's Notebook and Pen, or the Music Box from Bambinata? Just sayin, just sayin...

orange (fav) - give 60 points
orange (others) - give 30
purple - 20 points
blue - 10 points
the point of gift is just to enhance the bound with characters so we unlock new voices, new anecdotes, etc.
the system is fine as it is ngl
doing things as u ask will just mess up the game even more, I'm not even talking about the high possibility of bugs

This is a good Idea. Personally, I would go step further and add more types of gifts.
