This is my perspective as what you would consider older player (playing since luna laurel patch). So players do weekly missions everytime. The rewards are amazing, perhaps the most anticipated content for players cuz it gives alot of BC. But i would argue the contents are lacking "fun" element in it.
For instance, these weekly contents are the problems, Clash Reflections, PPC, WZ, and Norman. All these 4 contents have 1 thing in common, which is a Time Attack based stage.
Personally, i find it this is also the root cause of ult spam + time stop mechanic being meta. I dont know what people feels about this but i find it boring..
It feels like we just do our own template of rotation while bypassing all the boss mechanic.
So as the problem said, the solution for it, i would suggest we need a content that is not Time Attack based. It could be a stage where heals are much less effective and boss deals alot of damage. That would be something similiar to Stylish Mode event we have right now. Could be a debuff? yeah for example, boss/mobs hits you will apply a damage taken +50% or heal received -50% or dodge consumption +100% or DPS -30% kind of debuff for 10-15s. Doesnt that sounds great? I would say its better than current time attack event where bosses are just sandbag.
That concludes my suggestion, i hope that we may have a better content in the future and get into the right track. Let me know what you guys think about it, i really love this game and i want it to be better.
