I'm on PC and I'm using a PS5 controller. Prior to the current patch, I haven't had any issues. Now, the game keep switching the controls to Xbox instead of the playstation loadout. When this happens, it does something bizarre with the controls. Sometimes it will fix itself, but I never know why or when. However, that doesn't last long as the issue will start again.

fyi as a temporary fix, each time you launch the game go to options > button position > controller button
when you mouse over toward "ps5 button" the menu will scroll down, press the R2 button of your controller slightly to bring the menu back up. Select PS5 buttons and save and voila.
